Job description as Relocation Agent – native German speaker

Job role responsibilities:

  • Priorities, plan, schedule assign, support and accompany your clients through all obstacles. 
  • Oversee your tasks, work orders and special projects ensuring timely and accurate completion for you and your clients.
  • Develop, implement, manage conversations and emergency plans for your clients.
  • Quality service, meeting/exceeding financial goals, short & long-term planning, day-to-day operations.
  • Provide the right information and alternatives to your clients and explain the procedures.
  • Attend all meetings and informing the Xpats-Service Team with your activities, so that everyone at the Team is on the same level and can help by unexpected challenges.
  • Prepare reports as required by the CEO / Manager and Xpats-Service Team-members.
  • Identifying and implementing government rules and regulations for your clients

What we’re looking for:

  • Mother tongue German and business English - Dutch is preferred, but not a must
  • Advanced knowledge and interest about Amsterdam culture, restaurant and bars – therefore it’s a plus, if you live already a couple of years in the city and know you way around.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects, as well as time management.
  • A “can do” attitude and a Team player.
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, willing and don’t be afraid to talk to clients and local governments on the phone, as face to face.
  • Commitment and desire to deliver a high level of customer service.
  • (Sometimes) On call service required for clients - therefore live in Amsterdam or nearby surroundings.
  • Willing to learn and to develop.
  • Knowing the difficulties of the Real Estate Market
